PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
• What do I need to know about the payment process?
Fifty percent (50%) of the total fee is payable upon signing the Contract to reserve your project slot. The remaining 50% must be paid after the project receives final approval from the client.
• What is the policy regarding cancellations and refunds?
If you decide to withdraw from the project, the 50% deposit paid upon signing the Contract is non-refundable.
• If I no longer need a pre-made cover I purchased, can I sell it to someone else?
You may contact Fakel Barros • Studio to discuss relocating the pre-made cover or making additional modifications. If an agreement is reached, the cover can be relocated for the same price initially paid.
REVISIONS
• What revisions are included for book cover designs?
Free revisions include::
1. Text (change of title/author name/subtitles/blurb/etc);
2. Fonts and text styles or text placement;
3. Small changes such as: hair or eye color/magic color/
body marks/tattoos, etc;
4. Resizings for online use or printing;
5. Changes in position or exclusion of objects;
6. Texture change
• Which revisions require payment?
Payed revisions include complicated changes that might alte the overall look of the original design, changes that require more time to b completed and reintegrated in the overall design. such revisions include:
1. Character or object re-design;
2. Adding more objects or character;
3. Complete background change;
4. Landscape re-design.
• What if I change my mind about the cover concept?
If you decide to change the cover concept completely after work has begun, a redesign fee of 70% of the original amount may be charged.
ILLUSTRATIONS FOR DESIGN
• Who creates the illustrations used in the covers?
Most of the illustrations used in our covers are created by Fakel Barros • Studio. Some vector elements from stock may be used for details, effects, or ornaments.
